About the Activity

Tripura Forest Department carries out the plantation (Artificial Regeneration-AR) activities in degraded land of forest areas. Besides this, aided natural regeneration (ANR) are also followed for boosting up the natural forest.

Improving bio-diversity Mitigation of Climate change Maintaining ecological balance and ecological restoration Creation of livelihood opportunities through sustainable use of resources. Other topical issues like climate change and generation of synergy with other organs of the Govt are also being addressed.
